In plain words
- We ask for your name, mobile number and event type so we can reply to you, and we use them for nothing else.
- We do not sell your details or use them for unrelated marketing.
- You can ask us to show, correct or delete what we hold, or to stop contacting you, by emailing [email protected] or messaging us on WhatsApp.
- Google Maps loads only if you press the map button, and your form draft stays in your own browser until you send it.
The full policy follows, and it is the part that counts.
This policy explains what personal information Mubarak Events (“we”, “us”) collects through this website, why, who else handles it, how long we keep it, and how you can ask us to correct or delete it. It applies to the enquiry form, to messages you send us from the site by WhatsApp, phone or email, and to general use of the site.
Who we are
Mubarak Events is a catering, event decor and LED counter business in Hyderabad, Telangana, operating two restaurants in Medchal and Yousufguda. Registered business name and address: [owner to insert exactly as registered]. Contact for anything in this policy: [email protected].
What we collect
When you submit the enquiry form we collect what you type:
- Your name and mobile number (required).
- The type of event you are planning (required).
- Optionally: event date, approximate guest count, city or area, the services you want, and any message you write.
- A record that you agreed to be contacted about your enquiry.
Alongside the form, the site records technical details to help us answer you and understand which pages work:
- The page you submitted from, the page that referred you, and campaign tags in the link (such as utm_source).
- Your language setting and a broad device type (mobile, tablet or desktop) derived from your browser.
- An analytics identifier, if analytics is active, so we can count an enquiry against the visit that produced it.
To protect the form from abuse, your IP address is used briefly to limit how many enquiries one connection can send per hour. It is held only for that limiting window and is not stored with your enquiry.
While you fill in the form, the site saves your draft in your own browser’s session storage so that you do not lose it if you leave the page. That draft stays on your device, is cleared when you submit, and disappears when you close the browser tab or window.
Why we collect it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quotation, by phone, WhatsApp or email.
- To keep a record of enquiries so that we can follow up and avoid asking you the same questions twice.
- To keep the site secure and working, and to understand which pages lead to enquiries.
We rely on your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form. We do not use your details to send unrelated marketing, and we do not sell them. [Reviewer: confirm the lawful basis and notice wording required under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and any rules in force at launch.]
Contacting you by WhatsApp, phone and email
By submitting the form you agree that we may contact you on the mobile number you gave, by phone call and by WhatsApp message, about your enquiry. If you choose to message us first on WhatsApp from a button on this site, the conversation takes place in WhatsApp and is also subject to WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy policy. We do not store the content of WhatsApp conversations on this website. We will stop contacting you about an enquiry if you ask us to.
Who else handles your information
We use these service providers to run the site. They process data on our behalf or, where noted, under their own policies.
- Cloudflare hosts the website and runs the code that receives the form. Your enquiry is stored in a Cloudflare database, and a Cloudflare key-value store is used for the hourly limit described above.
- Resend delivers the email that notifies us of a new enquiry. That email contains the details you submitted.
- Sanity hosts the content management system that holds our pages, images and customer testimonials. Enquiries are not stored there. Testimonials appear only with the customer’s consent.
- Google Analytics receives an event when an enquiry is submitted, containing the event type, guest-count range, page and language, and an analytics identifier. It does not receive your name, phone number or message. [Reviewer: confirm the cookie and analytics consent wording once analytics is switched on.]
- Google Maps loads only if you press “Show map” on the contact page; nothing is requested from Google before that.
- WhatsApp (Meta) carries messages you send us from the WhatsApp buttons.
Some of these providers may process data on servers outside India. We may also disclose information if the law requires it. We do not sell or rent your personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for [owner to decide, for example 24 months] after the enquiry or the event date, whichever is later, so that we can follow up and handle any questions about a booking. Records connected to an invoice or payment are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. After that they are deleted or anonymised.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete your information; and
- stop contacting you, which withdraws your consent for further contact.
To request deletion: email [email protected] from any address, or message us on WhatsApp, with the name and mobile number you used on the form and the words “delete my data”. We may ask one simple question to confirm it is you. We will act on the request within [owner to decide, for example 30 days] and confirm when it is done. We may have to keep a minimum record where the law requires it, such as records tied to a paid booking.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, enquiries are stored in access-controlled systems, and only the people who handle enquiries can see them. No online system is perfectly secure, so please do not put sensitive information such as card or bank details in the message box. We never ask for those through the enquiry form.
Children
The site is intended for adults planning events. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18 without a parent or guardian’s involvement.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change its date. [Owner to insert the effective date at launch.]
Complaints and grievances
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, write to [name and role of the person responsible, to be designated by the owner] at [email protected]. [Reviewer: confirm whether a formal grievance officer must be named.]
