Wedding caterers in Hyderabad who cook for the whole family

Nikah, walima, shaadi and reception menus, from two restaurant kitchens.

Wedding caterers in Hyderabad, from the first tasting to the last table

A wedding is rarely one meal. There is often a mehndi or haldi lunch, the nikah or pheras, a reception dinner and a walima or send-off meal the next day, each with a different crowd and a different pace. Our wedding catering covers any or all of them under one plan, so the menu, staffing and timing are decided together rather than patched together.

We are a Hyderabad caterer with two restaurant kitchens, in Medchal and Yousufguda, and the biryani, kebabs and curries that go to your wedding come from the same cooks and recipes that serve walk-in diners every week. Families planning a Muslim wedding, a Telugu wedding or a mixed-tradition celebration will find menus here that respect the occasion, whether that means dum biryani and haleem-style starters or a pure vegetarian spread with separate cooking.

Before you commit we sit down with the family, ask about elders, children and dietary needs, and propose a menu with a tasting. The quotation that follows is itemised: food, staff, crockery, transport and GST, each on its own line. Wedding catering sits inside our wider catering services in Hyderabad, and it pairs naturally with our decor team if you want the food, the stage and the tables to feel like one design.

Wedding catering formats

  • Nikah and walima

Family-style or buffet service built around dum biryani, kebabs, a rich korma or salan and a Hyderabadi dessert. Seating is often in long rows, so we plan serving in waves to keep food hot.

  • Reception dinner

A multi-course buffet with starters passed by staff, main-course lines on both sides of the hall and a dessert station. Live counters are often added here for variety.

  • Mehndi, haldi and sangeet

Lighter, snack-led menus with chaat, grills and drinks that guests can eat standing up between performances and rituals.

  • Vegetarian and jain weddings

Entirely separate vegetarian kitchens and utensils, with a menu planned around seasonal vegetables, paneer, dal and regional sweets. Jain preparation can be arranged on request.

The first conversation

What we ask the family, and what you get back

Before you commit we sit down with the family. This is what that conversation covers.

We ask

  • Who is eating: the elders, the children, and any dietary needs.
  • Which meals you need: a haldi or mehndi lunch, the nikah or pheras, the reception, the walima or send-off meal, in any combination.
  • Which traditions the menu must respect: a Muslim wedding, a Telugu wedding, a mixed celebration, or a vegetarian spread cooked separately.
  • Where it is held: a hall with a kitchen, or a farmhouse or lawn that needs a tented cooking line.
  • The date, so we can tell you plainly if it is already committed.

You get back

  • A proposed menu, with a tasting arranged before you commit.
  • An itemised written quotation: food, staff, crockery, transport and GST, each on its own line.
  • One plan in which the menu, the staffing and the timing are decided together.
  • For a multi-day celebration, one planner and one captain across all the days.

Where our wedding catering works

  • Function halls and banquets

We work inside Hyderabad function halls and convention centres, coordinating with the venue on kitchen access, loading routes and timings.

  • Farmhouse and lawn weddings

For venues without a usable kitchen we bring a tented cooking line and generator-safe equipment, so a wedding at a Shamirpet farmhouse eats as well as one in a hall.

  • Home and courtyard ceremonies

Smaller nikahs and house functions get the same menu quality in a format that fits the space, usually a buffet or family-style service.

  • Multi-day celebrations

One planner and one captain across all the days, so the second evening does not repeat the first evening by accident.

Pricing

What decides the price of wedding catering

  • Guest count and meals

The total depends on how many guests attend each meal, and how many separate meals you need across the celebration.

  • Menu tier

Dum biryani with a single curry is priced differently from a menu with several starters, mutton and seafood dishes and a dessert spread.

  • Service style

Plated service and passed starters need more staff than a buffet. Live counters add cooks and equipment.

  • Venue and distance

A venue with no kitchen, or one far from our kitchens, changes transport, equipment and setup time.

  • Date and season

Peak muhurtham and winter wedding weekends are busy. Early booking protects your date and your budget.

Questions

Questions families ask us

What is the wedding catering price per plate in Hyderabad?

It depends on menu tier, guest count, service style, venue and date, so we quote each wedding individually rather than publish a single figure that would mislead. Share your date, guest count and venue area and you will receive an itemised written quotation showing food, staff, crockery, transport and GST separately.

Can you cook a traditional Hyderabadi wedding menu?

Yes. Dum biryani, kebabs, salan, dalcha, mirchi ka salan and double ka meetha or qubani ka meetha are at the core of what our kitchens cook. We can also build mixed menus for families combining traditions.

Do you handle vegetarian and non-vegetarian guests at the same wedding?

Yes, with two parallel service lines, separate utensils and separate staff, so vegetarian guests are never served from a spoon used for meat.

How early should we book wedding catering?

For peak-season weekends, four to eight weeks ahead gives you a real choice of dates and time for a tasting. Shorter notice is sometimes possible, and we will tell you plainly if your date is already committed.
