Buffet Catering
Well-paced buffet lines from 100 guests upward.
Tents, power and a full cooking line for farmhouses, lawns and open grounds.
Many of the best places to celebrate in and around Hyderabad have no kitchen at all: farmhouses on the Shamirpet road, resort lawns, open plots, temple grounds and gardens. Outdoor catering means bringing the kitchen to the venue, and doing it so that the food tastes the same as it would in a hall. That takes planning on fuel, water, shade, power, waste and the simple matter of where guests will stand.
We send a coordinator to look at the space before the event when the size justifies it, and we plan around what we find: where the cooking tent goes, how far it is from the serving area, how the vehicles get in and whether the ground is level enough for tables. On the day, our team arrives early, sets up a covered cooking and holding area, and runs it until the last guest has eaten and the area has been cleared.
Outdoor events have their own risks, weather chief among them, and a good plan includes a cover option rather than hoping for a clear evening. We talk through those options with you before confirming. Outdoor catering is one of the formats within our catering services in Hyderabad, and it combines well with buffet service and live counters, which suit an open-air crowd that moves around.
A buffet or counters under a covered tent along one edge of the lawn, with guests seated at round tables or moving freely. Good for birthdays, engagements and family gatherings.
A full tented kitchen, holding area and serving line for farmhouse weddings and large family functions, with our own equipment and staff.
Team outings and launch events in resorts and gardens, with a simpler cooking line and quick-service counters.
Live grills with skewers and tandoori items cooked outdoors, paired with a side buffet and dessert.
Before the day
When the size of the event justifies it, we send a coordinator to look at the space first. This is the route they follow, from the vehicle to the guest.
Venues outside the city often lack a kitchen and have long access roads, so we plan transport and early arrival accordingly.
Resort lawns usually have power and water nearby, which simplifies setup, though many restrict open-flame cooking.
Large community meals and religious functions, with multi-line serving and vegetarian-only cooking areas where required.
Smaller parties on rooftops, with compact equipment and a careful plan for carrying food up and clearing it down.
Pricing
Remote farmhouses mean longer transport, earlier departures and more carrying from the vehicle to the tent.
Tents, burners, holding units, lighting and generators are needed when the venue has none, and they add to setup and clearing time.
The size of the crowd decides how many serving lines, staff and cooks are needed in the open.
Dum cooking and live grills need more equipment and skilled hands outdoors than a simple buffet.
Monsoon and peak weekend dates call for covered areas and extra flexibility in the plan.
Questions
We bring our own cooking tent, burners and equipment. For power, we will tell you at planning what the venue must supply and arrange a generator for the food area if it cannot. Any such arrangement appears as a separate line on your quotation.
Yes. Farmhouse events on the Shamirpet and Medchal side are among the most common outdoor bookings we take, and our Medchal kitchen is close to many of them. Distance is itemised on the quotation.
The cooking and holding area is always under cover, and we discuss a covered serving option for guests at planning. If weather turns on the day, our captain adjusts service rather than cancelling it.
Some resorts and venues restrict open flame or require their own approval. Please check with the venue and tell us early; we will plan around their rules, for example by using enclosed burners.
