Religious function catering in Hyderabad is not a smaller version of wedding catering. Each occasion has its own timing, its own menu expectations and its own etiquette: when the meal can be served, what must or must not be in it, how guests are seated, and how the host wants elders looked after. Getting those details right matters more than scale.
Below are the four occasions families ask us about most, and how we go about each. Guest counts for these functions range from a few families at home to a hall full of relatives, and we scale the team to suit.
If you need florals at the door or the puja area, see floral decor. For a bigger family celebration around the same time, see birthday and anniversary.

Every family does these in its own way. Here is what is broadly true of each, and what we ask so that we get yours right.
Welcomes a newborn, traditionally around the seventh day, with the baby's hair shaved and an animal sacrificed. The meat is shared with relatives, neighbours and those in need.
We will ask
A gathering of recitation and remembrance. The meal, often with sweets, follows once the recitation ends.
We will ask
A puja, followed by prasadam shared with everyone present. The meal is vegetarian, and many families keep it without onion and garlic.
We will ask
Entering a new home at a fixed auspicious hour, with a puja and often milk boiled in the new kitchen. A vegetarian lunch for relatives and friends follows.
We will ask
If your family follows a custom that is not described here, tell us. We would rather ask than assume.
Aqeeqah celebrates a newborn, and families usually host relatives and neighbours for a shared meal. Menus are typically non-vegetarian and built around meat dishes and biryani, but every family has its own way of doing it.
Tell us how you plan to arrange the meat and the number of guests, and we plan the menu, the cooking and the serving around that. We can also plan a simple decor at the home or hall.

A milad gathering is built around recitation, prayer and remembrance, and the meal follows. The timing matters: guests should be fed promptly once the gathering ends, without noise or disruption to the recitation.
We plan serving time with you, keep the setup simple and respectful, and arrange seating on the floor or at tables, as your family prefers.

Satyanarayana vratam is a Hindu puja followed by prasadam and a vegetarian meal. Many households prefer a satvik menu without onion and garlic, and we plan to that.
Tell us the puja timing and the guest count, and we plan the prasadam, the meal and the serving so that the family can focus on the ritual.

Griha pravesham, the housewarming ceremony, is held at a fixed auspicious time, followed by a meal for relatives and friends. Menus are commonly vegetarian, though some families serve both.
We plan the meal around the ceremony time, set up at your new home or a nearby hall, and can add door florals and a simple decor for the day.

Most of these functions are held at home, and we plan the kitchen, the space and the serving around the house.
Larger gatherings move to a hall with seating for the whole family.
Clubhouses suit medium gatherings but have their own rules on cooking and timing.
We serve across the city and nearby districts. Tell us the location when you ask.
