Long wedding buffet in a Hyderabad banquet hall with steel chafing dishes of dum biryani, mutton curry and dalcha, and uniformed servers plating for guests

Catering services in Hyderabad, cooked by people who run restaurants

Buffets, plated service and live counters for 50 to 5,000 guests.

Mubarak Events offers catering services in Hyderabad for weddings, office events, lawn parties and family functions, with a kitchen team that also runs two multi-cuisine restaurants in Medchal and Yousufguda. That matters on the day: the people cooking your biryani cook it for paying diners every week, not just for events.

We work in five formats, each with its own page below. Wedding menus are built around the family and the rituals of the day. Corporate catering is built around the clock. Outdoor catering brings its own tents, power and cooking line. Buffets are planned so that lines move, and live counters put a cook in front of your guests. Everything is priced per plate and itemised, so you can see what you are paying for before you decide.

What we cater

How we feed your guests

Pick the format that fits your event, or combine them. A buffet with two live counters is one of the most common requests we get.

  • Servers in matching black waistcoats carrying plated starters to a seated wedding table laid with gold-rimmed crockery

    Wedding Catering

Nikah, walima, shaadi and reception menus, cooked for the family that is hosting.

  • Conference room lunch laid out on a white-draped table with labelled veg and non-veg trays, rice, dal and salad bowls

    Corporate Catering

Office lunches, conference breaks and annual-day dinners, delivered on the clock.

  • Evening lawn party at a Shamirpet farmhouse with string lights, round tables and a covered catering tent at the back

    Outdoor Catering

Lawns, farmhouses and open grounds, with our own tents, power and cooking line.

  • Double-sided buffet line with guests queuing on both sides and staff topping up rice and curries from steel handis

    Buffet Catering

Well-paced buffet lines from 100 guests upward, with menus planned around the crowd.

  • Cook at a decorated live chaat counter assembling papdi chaat on a steel tray while guests wait with small plates

    Live Counters

Chaat, dosa, grill and more, cooked in front of your guests.

  • Sealed copper handi of dum biryani being opened, steam rising over saffron-streaked rice and mutton pieces

    Menus

Biryani, Hyderabadi classics and vegetarian menus, with downloadable PDFs.

Buffet, plated or live counters

Most events use more than one. This is the short answer; each format has its own page below.

Choosing a format

Start from the occasion in front of you

The formats combine well. This is where we would begin for each kind of day.

  1. A nikah, a walima or a shaadi

Begin with wedding catering. Biryani, kebabs and the rest, planned around the family and the hour of the ceremony.

  2. An office lunch, a conference or an annual day

Begin with corporate catering. Food is planned around your schedule, with vegetarian and non-vegetarian clearly marked.

  3. A farmhouse, a lawn or any venue without a kitchen

Begin with outdoor catering. The kitchen comes to the venue.

  4. A large guest list and a wish to keep the queue short

Begin with buffet catering. Lines and stations are planned before the day.

  5. Guests who would enjoy watching the food being made

Begin with live counters. Chaat, dosa, grill or dessert, cooked in front of them.

  6. You know what you want to eat and need to see the dishes

Read the catering menus, with biryani first.

  • Setup before guests arrive, and clearing of food stations and used crockery afterwards
  • Transport of food, equipment and staff within Hyderabad and the nearby districts you brief us on

How it works

From first message to the last plate

  1. Step 1: Tell us the basics

Date, guest count, venue area and the kind of occasion. A WhatsApp message is enough to start.

  2. Step 2: Shortlist and taste

We propose a menu around your crowd and arrange a tasting of the dishes you are considering.

  3. Step 3: Confirm in writing

An itemised quotation covering food, staff, crockery, transport and GST. The date is held once you confirm.

  4. Step 4: We run the day

Our captain sets up, directs service and oversees clearing, so you can spend the event with your guests.

Pricing

What drives the price of catering

  • Guest count

More guests lower the cost per plate because cooking, transport and supervision are shared, but the total still rises. Guaranteed numbers help us plan quantities and avoid waste.

  • Menu tier

A menu built on dal, rice and two curries costs differently from one with several starters, mutton and prawn dishes, and a dessert spread. Premium ingredients move the price most.

  • Distance

Venues outside the city need longer transport, earlier departures and sometimes an on-site kitchen. The distance band is itemised on the quotation.

  • Service staff

Plated service needs roughly twice the staff of a buffet. Live counters add cooks. The ratio you choose affects both the price and the pace of service.

  • Season

Peak wedding dates and festival weekends are in demand for staff and kitchen capacity. Booking early protects both your date and your budget.

Pairs well with

  • Reception hall laid out with round banquet tables, a floral stage and warm pendant lighting before guests arrive

    Event Management

One team for the whole day, from the first enquiry to the last plate cleared.

  • Backlit LED food counter with a gold-framed menu board at a wedding reception

    Event Decor

Mandaps, stages, florals and LED counters to match the food.

Questions

Catering questions, answered

How far in advance should I book catering in Hyderabad?

For weddings and large functions in the peak muhurtham and winter months, four to eight weeks ahead gives you a real choice of dates and a proper tasting. Corporate lunches and smaller house functions can usually be arranged with far shorter notice, and we will tell you plainly if a date is already committed.

Do you cater both vegetarian and non-vegetarian menus?

Yes. Most Hyderabad functions need both, so we plan them as two parallel lines with separate serving utensils and separate staff, so that vegetarian guests are not served from a spoon that touched meat. Pure vegetarian events are equally straightforward.

What is the minimum number of guests you cater for?

Our formats start at around 50 guests. Below that, the quality of a cooked-on-site service is hard to protect, and you are usually better served by ordering from one of our two restaurants. Message us with your headcount and we will say honestly which route fits.

Can I taste the food before I confirm?

Yes. We arrange a tasting of the dishes you are shortlisting before you commit, and we are happy to adjust spice, oil and salt to your family. Ask for it when you request your quotation so the date can be fixed.

How do you price catering, and what will the quotation show?

We quote per plate. The figure depends on guest count, menu tier, distance, service staff and season, all explained on this page. The written quotation separates food, staff, crockery, transport and GST so you can see exactly what each part costs and remove what you do not need.

Which areas of Hyderabad and Telangana do you serve?

We cater across Hyderabad and Secunderabad, with our kitchens at Medchal and Yousufguda, and we travel to farmhouses and venues in the surrounding districts. Distance beyond the standard band is quoted as a transparent line item.
